Strengthening Health Systems in Botswana Through Capacity Building in Curriculum

When research is translated into clinical care, population intervention and policy, it has the potential to improve health systems and population health. Unfortunately, many low and middle income countries lack trained research personnel and clinicians lack training in evidence based medicine. This presentation discusses two initiatives to improve health systems and outcomes through curriculum development and research training in Botswana through a multi-institutional partnership.
