AAS Astronomy Ambassadors: Putting a Fresh Face on Astrophysics

In 2012 the American Astronomical Society (AAS) contracted with the Astronomical Society of the Pacific to lead workshops to empower early career astronomers to do outreach. These workshops focused on building communication skills and introducing outreach resources. This talk will mine the event logs from the first two cohorts for evidence of the kinds of outreach done since the workshops and how the training has changed how they do outreach.
