Professor Sarewitz is a Co-Director, Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes (CSPO), Arizona State University. CSPO has been trying to foster outcome-based policies across a broad portfolio of publicly funded scientific research since its foundation. With his longstanding experiences in US science policy-making scene, he will discuss his broad perspectives on dealing with the duality of science and CSPO’s challenges in developing and implementing outcome-based STI policy.
