Using Reddit to Publicize Your Research and Engage Your Audience

Friday, February 17, 2017: 3:00 PM-4:00 PM
Room 208 (Hynes Convention Center)
This workshop is centered on a conversation with Nate Allen, the moderator of /r/science on Reddit, discussing how scientists are using Reddit to raise awareness about their research. Whether conducting an "Ask Me Anything" or publishing a link on a subreddit, scientists can learn to take advantage of Reddit as a platform to publicize research and engage with audiences that are likely to extend reach.
