Cooperative research activities with other leading laboratories in this area aim at exploiting measurable material properties which are characteristic for the material and exploring new analytical and interpretational avenues. Staying ahead of the game ensures credible implementation of nuclear security policies and maximize deterrence towards criminal or terrorist acts involving nuclear material.
