The Global Initiative to Counter Nuclear Terrorism is a voluntary partnership of 86 nations working to strengthen global capacity to prevent, detect and respond to nuclear terrorism. Its Nuclear Forensics Working Group works to raise awareness among policymakers, assist in developing core capabilities, foster intergovernmental relationships, conduct joint exercises and share best practices. Experience from its activities, joining operational, scientific and regulatory aspects will be presented.
