A professor at the University of Havana, Dr. Angulo’s research interests include management effectiveness of marine protected areas, recreational fisheries, and ecological economics. He will discuss the status of Cuban marine fishery resources and options for ensuring long-term sustainability and economic welfare for Cubans. He will also explore the potential future paths for shared resource management between the U.S. and Cuba.
