Assessment of the Agricultural Information System

The current state of agricultural information is presented. The lack of regularly reported agricultural information in developing countries will be covered. The challenges facing countries in creating an adequate information system are highlighted. Challenges include shortage of trained staff, inadequate resources, lack of methodology, and serious challenges with data collection in remote areas.
