Emerging evidence from education research has emphasized the need to change approaches to teaching and learning in undergraduate STEM. These changes have important implications for current and future instructors, academic departments, institutions, and education policymaking and funding priorities. This presentation from the recent Director of the Division of Undergraduate Education at NSF will focus on how education research has shaped programs and funding priorities at the Foundation.
