Networks of Diasporas in Engineering and Science (NODES)

Open to all registrants
Thursday, February 11, 2016: 1:00 PM-5:45 PM
Diplomat Ballroom (Omni Shoreham Hotel)
Are you interested in or part of a diaspora network? The fourth NODES forum will engage science and engineering diaspora networks -- scientists, students, innovators, and policy experts who now live in a country other than their country of origin -- about practices for promoting research cooperation and spurring innovation across these countries. Diaspora members can be valuable “science diplomats,” empowered to forge linkages that can help solve global problems, advance scientific development, and better the lives of people worldwide. Participate in this forum to learn more and to share your perspectives. NODES is a partnership between the U.S. State Department, AAAS, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Engineering. The latest agenda can be found at: http://www.aaas.org/event/networks-diasporas-engineering-and-science-nodes-forum-2016.
