Science and Technology capabilities are essential priorities for both Africa and the United States. Science Cooperation, long a part of US international engagements, offers possibilities for mutualizing partnerships that can serve both US national interests and Africa’s own development priorities. We will discuss how the topic of science and technology capabilities as a joint endeavor could stimulate/promote new forms of exchange and cooperation between Africa and the United States, with an aim to strengthening what can be achieved in Africa.
