We showcase the unique goals and features of the Masamu Program which promotes research colaboration between US and African mathematicians.  We give examples of activities of the program including specific collaborative research projects and their accomplishments. These activities and research collaborations involve faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students.  The Masamu Program is sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Simons Foundation, Southern Africa Mathematical Sciences Association, Mathematical Association of America, and several US and African universities.
