The Challenges of Being a Science and Technology Entrepreneur in Africa

The challenges faced by science, technology, and innovation entrepreneurs are significant worldwide, with unique issues facing Africa from government policies to access to capital. But, entrepreneurship is booming throughout Africa. Through my company Kytabu, a textbook subscription application that reduces the cost of textbooks by 40% for the user, I have learned from many challenges and now I am poised to help. I will share what has empowered me and my plan to give back to the community.
