America After 3pm: Special Report on STEM

Dr. Krishnamurthi will present the STEM findings from America After 3pm, the nation’s largest household survey of afterschool participation. Topics include: access and availability of afterschool STEM programs; expectations from such programs; satisfaction levels as described by parents and adult guardians; and variations in these factors regionally and across gender and population demographics. She will also examine parental perceptions of how STEM is being addressed in afterschool programs.
