Dr. Julie Sweetland will present key findings from FrameWorks Institute’s recent research into informal STEM learning. Topics include how average Americans model informal STEM learning; the implications of these perceptions for public policy support; and the evidence behind three recommendations for how to talk about informal STEM learning. Julie will bring her vast experience at leading workshops for science communicators globally on issues such as climate change and early brain development.
