Top European Grants for Brilliant Minds from Across the World

Saturday, 14 February 2015: 9:15 AM-10:15 AM
Room 210H (San Jose Convention Center)
This workshop for early-career researchers will explain the aim and complementarities of two EU funding schemes—Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and the European Research Council (ERC)—as well as provide answers to practical questions including: How can the ERC, MSCA, and EURAXESS support research careers? What are the selection criteria and how long is the selection process? How does the application process work? How many researchers are funded each year? What are the chances of success? Where can I find information on the EURAXESS portal? In addition, a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow and an ERC Starting Grantee will share their experiences with these funding initiatives and answer questions.
