Science Education and Training for Sustainable Development in Haiti

Haiti is ready for development, but this cannot be sustained without a concerted effort to improve curriculum and practicum of the STEM programs. In order to truly reverse the poverty paradox in Haiti, scientific training need to be encouraged and promoted to the average young Haitian. Through the Haitian Bioscience Initiative, we are aiming at filling the void by training young Haitians in the basics of bioscience laboratory techniques.
