The demographic changes in the society portend major changes in intergenerational relations. Parents and grandparents will continue to help children as they are able but the same is true of children assisting their parents and grandparents. This presentation explores the potential for improving or stressing intergenerational relations by identifying possible changes in intergenerational relations as influenced by changes in family structure and function.
