Drawing on Davide’s 23 years of experience in the public and private sectors in Europe and the US, this session will examine the evolution, scalability, and interoperability of cloud computing and storage infrastructures and technologies, including the transnational legal issues around sharing of data and the challenges these pose for research communities. The presentation will outline a possible future direction for distributed computing for research and private sector use.
