Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: The Road from Medicine to Environmental Health

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are widely used in medicine, epidemiology and public health. In this talk, we will first discuss key contributions of systematic reviews to minimize uncertainty and improve medical practice in clinical research. Second we will present some examples on the application of those techniques to environmental health sciences and their potential to enhance timely action and environmental policy.
