The Scientific Impact of Galaxy Zoo

Brooke Simmons will introduce Galaxy Zoo, one of the most popular citizen science projects--and the project that started the Zooniverse. She will present some results from the Galaxy Zoo collaboration relating to the formation and structure of galaxies, and she will describe her own work on the co-evolution of black holes and galaxies.
