Museums, planetariums, and similar institutions play a key role in contextualizing science data for broad audiences: increasing engagement, enhancing learning, and extending the authenticity of specimens and artifacts into the digital realm. Ryan Wyatt will describe how the California Academy of Sciences incorporates visualization into a wide range of media, exhibits, and programs. Focusing on success, Wyatt will report on evaluations that substantiate positive effects on audiences and learning.
