Actions that integrate air quality and climate change mitigation are expected to have significant benefits. However, a different set of national challenges and priorities may leave climate change mitigation on the back burner. Significant efforts are being made in some Asian countries to consider co-benefits in policy measures, recognizing that air pollution is in many cases the priority area. Perspectives from experiences in Asia will be discussed.
