BrainFacts.org provides the public with frequently updated, scientist-vetted brain information and adds active social media strategies. Launched by the Kavli Foundation, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, and the Society for Neuroscience in May 2012, it shares the excitement and importance of neuroscience, as well as “brain basics,” in ways everyone can understand. This presentation will describe how the project has surpassed set benchmarks and attracted a global audience in less than a year.
