This talk presents new manufacturing approaches as enablers for organic and hybrid devices. Spray-on fabrication allows straightforward deposition of solar cells and other devices on any kind of substrate, even flexible ones; performance can be improved by integrating materials to increase absorption at selected wavelengths. Printing technologies like spray coating can be combined with nanoimprint lithography. Surface patterning of electrodes and/or polymer films can further enhance performance.
