The workshop aims to present three of Japan’s most important research organizations: RIKEN, Japan’s flagship research organization for basic and applied research ; Tsukuba University; and the World Premier International Research Centre Initiative, a consortium of leading Japanese research centres . With institutes and facilities all over Japan, these organizations are at the forefront of Japanese research and offer exciting career opportunities to foreign researchers. RIKEN has specific funding programs for students, postdoctoral and young researchers. The workshop will also provide a space for discussion, with a question and answer session about life in Japan.
