Citation counts and journal-level impact factors are blunt instruments at best. New scholarship and tools, such as Total-Impact goes beyond traditional measurements of research output to embrace a much broader evidence of use across a wide range of scholarly output types. This presentation will tackle how tracking and understanding downloads, bookmarks, blog mentions, and twitter conversations can revolutionize assessments of our scholarly impact.
