Modelling aspects of tumour growth and progression
This talk will survey a number of different modelling approaches that
we have recently taken to investigate aspects of tumour growth. The
approaches range from simple ordinary differential equation models, to
partial differential equation models and hybrid cellular automaton and
discrete-cell-based type models. Applications will include
colorectal cancer growth, acid-mediated tumour progression, and possible
therapeutic implications.
