November 2012 witnessed the centenary of the announcement of Bragg’s Law by Lawrence Bragg, and his inauguration of the science of X-ray crystallography in collaboration with his father. Thereafter X-ray crystallography, the classic international and interdisciplinary science, has transformed the physical and biological sciences, materials science, agriculture and ecology, molecular biology, medicine, and much more. This talk will give an historical account, examining and celebrating this achievement and its legacy.
