The practice of development is changing rapidly, with new tools available due to the vast democratization of science, development of new data sets, and leaps in connectivity. However, many of these advances have failed to reach the conservation and global change community. This talk will address how we may use such tools and approaches to improve data availability, build global cooperation around environmental change, and take on the big problems in development through new platforms and tools.
