Through remote sensing we are able to image our world from the micro, using electron microscopes, to the macro, using space-borne sensors. Geographic Information Systems are able to extract meaningful information at all scales—the benefits of science. Through remote sensing we are able to explore the basic structure of the universe; do all patterns exist at micro and macro scales? Viewing images, can we tell which scale is micrometers and which is kilometers? The beauty of science and our world!
