Improving our use of renewable energy is a world-wide challenge that affects all of us. Scientific breakthroughs in resource assessments, forecasting and impacts developed by one scientific group can be of great use throughout the world, but only if communication, open sharing and the will to make this happen exists. The primary constraints and needs differ throughout the world requiring an active coordination of efforts to assure the optimal use of our most recent scientific breakthroughs.
