This presentation will feature how the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) is collaborating in an NSF-funded research program to study the responses of marine life to climate change: research questions range from ecosystem level studies all the way down to single organisms. RISD faculty and students are working with scientists to communicate and visualize scientific data and findings. Moreover, design approaches are being used to create interdisciplinary environments for addressing these complex research problems.
