What are the goals of collaborations between art and science? What factors have facilitated or frustrated collaborative art and science projects at art colleges and research-intensive universities? The speaker will discuss these issues by drawing on experiences from The Pennsylvania State University, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Lasalle College of the Arts (Singapore), to highlight useful strategies and considerations when developing projects that integrate art, design, science, and technology.
