Information technology has transformed all across the globe how we, the humans, work, live and think. This development is in large part fueled by technologies enabled by the exponential growth of computing power i.e., Moore’s Law scaling. The foreseeable end of this scaling may or may not indicate a looming crisis requiring necessary steps. The discussion will allude to relevant technical and societal questions and their answers drawn from various sources.
