An Open Platform for Disease Biology Data Sharing, Standardization, and Model Building

Basic research and clinical findings in human disease biology underpin a set of models that inform our understanding of disease causality and progression. However, such findings are often stored as specialized and insulated collections of data. Building upon successful data sharing models including FaceBook, Dr. Izant will explore the capabilities of the Sage Commons Platform to provide broad access to datasets, molecular network models of disease, and the algorithms used to construct them.
