Innovative solutions to global challenges require education on global issues and entrepreneurial collaboration on a global scale across disciplines and institutions. By bringing together interdisciplinary teams from different institutions and disciplines, programs emphasizing the design, development and dissemination of such solutions are emerging. This session will highlight approaches and key learnings emerging from: a) venture projects in the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA at Colorado State University (CSU), b) design workshops with the International Development Design Summit partnership between MIT, Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, CSU and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and c) faculty training workshops with the Sustainable Vision University Network which is being sponsored by the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA).
