Update on developing sustainable inter-sectoral collaborations at all levels, local to global, by identifying concrete opportunities for implementing One Health strategies and overcoming barriers. This presentation is based on outcomes of a meeting in Atlanta in May 2010 that brought together CDC, OIE, FAO, WHO, and leaders from the European Commission, World Bank, UN, and others; participants identified 7 critical enabling initiatives fundamental to moving the One Health agenda forward. This report focuses on the progress made by the 7 interdisciplinary groups charged with implementing these initiatives.
