Linking Global and Regional Research Efforts, Policy Initiatives, Extension Systems, and Farmers

This topic will focus on how the international scientific community can collaborate more effectively to create and disseminate relevant knowledge and technology to facilitate adaptation to climate change. Case examples are drawn from CGIAR/CCAFS; Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) funded by Gates Foundation; Rockefeller Foundation efforts to improve extension services; and major knowledge networks.
