Introduction to the Interactive Session

As one of its original organizers and ongoing leaders, Dr. Labov will provide a brief overview of the origins and evolution of the National Academies Summer Institutes for Undergraduate Education in Biology and provide an introduction for the rationale of approaches to teaching and learning that will be used throughout this interactive session.
