This presentation will examine the evolving impacts of increasing scientific knowledge about climate change and its anticipated environmental impacts on the development of regional security policy in the Asia-Pacific region. Bangladesh will serve as the exemplary case, within the context of regional security organizations including SAARC and the ASEAN Regional Forum, and the evolving policies of regional powers including China & the US.
