Opportunities at the Intersection of Science and Policy

This session will explore career opportunities at the intersection of science and policy, both in terms of “science for policy” and “policy for science.” The workshop will underscore the importance of scientists’ understanding of the impacts of science on the policy-making process and the impacts of policy-making on the scientific enterprise, describe skills needed to succeed in science policy, describe several avenues to learn more about science policy.
