This talk will focus on the opportunity to produce biofuels using waste sources such as corn stover, grasses, and restaurant grease to avoid unnecessary indirect land disturbance and reduce resource competition. In particular, this talk will pay attention to global effects (both direct and indirect) from biofuels production, including land use.
