Call for Proposals: AAAS 2023 Annual Meeting

This call is for both Scientific Sessions, Lightning Talks, and Workshops for the 2023 AAAS Annual Meeting. Please click on the appropriate link for submission instructions.

Scientific Sessions - Deadline Reached

Scientific sessions should focus on topics and projects with broad appeal and relevance. A panel composed of 3 speakers will each give pre-recorded Spotlight Videos with individual presentations and discussions with a moderator about their work (approximately 15 minutes each), followed by a live 45 minute discussion and Q&A session.

Lightning Talk Format - Deadline Reached

Lightning talks offer early career researchers the opportunity to have the stage to themselves for ten minutes (one speaker only per submission).

Workshops - Deadline Reached

Workshops should be aimed at individuals seeking careers in science and engineering and professionals looking to sharpen or supplement their skills. These workshops are instructional and interactive in nature and are markedly different from a scientific session. Workshops may have up to 3 presenters and will be 45 minutes in length.
