As a past Executive Director of Nanotechnology Research Initiative at the Semiconductor Research Corporation - a research consortium of the semiconductor companies with a global reach over 27 countries across the world, and the former head of physical sciences division of IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Dr. Theis will elaborate his experience on assembling multidisciplinary teams of industry researchers on low power computing that is predicted as a major bottleneck for the whole of computing industry.
