English mathematician Alan Turing and researchers at Bletchley Park famously cracked the Enigma code during World War II. His captivating story is widely known, as explored in the 2014 movie, “The Imitation Game.” But he was not the first to figure out the Enigma's secrets. The Embassy of Poland proudly presents the exhibit “Enigma – Decipher Victory” on the fascinating history of Polish mathematicians who cracked the pre-war Enigma codes, which Polish intelligence then shared with French and British allies at the dawn of World War II. Refreshments will be provided.
