Research at the Intersection of Medicine and Engineering: Convergence in Practice

Insights from electrical engineering, the semiconductor industry, nanoscience, and the study of living cells are being combined to produce novel platforms for understanding, diagnosing and treating human disease and for advancing tissue engineering. The talk will highlight several recent discoveries from Dr. Bhatia’s lab, which require closely integrating the contributions of multiple disciplines.
