Using Science to Save Lives, and Prevent Injuries

Dr. Friedman helps lead NHSTA in its mission to save lives, prevent injuries through education, research, safety standards, and enforcement activity. This experience together with his previous work as a researcher and as an advocate give him an important perspective on the role of science in decision making at a large complex federal agency.
