UAS for Hurricane Research

Robbie will provide an overview of the NOAA UAS program, with a focus on the SHOUT (Sensing Hazards with Operational Unmanned Technology) campaign. SHOUT will use the Global Hawk UAS to study severe storms (including Atlantic hurricanes and Alaska storms) to improve weather forecasts.
