Virtual Tools for Sustainable Manufacturing

The increasing demands for substantial resource utilization in manufacturing of products and rapidly changing demands from society and customers have led business – to seek for more efficient ways of adopting manufacturing conditions and to find better ways of integrating product design and production processes. Virtual tools, including capturing spatial data in three dimensions, are crucial to enable this and they are also increasingly being utilized in companies as our work will show.
